Our Stencils:
Stencil material:
Our stencils are made from 125 micron (5mil) grade one polyester film. There is the option of ordering any design in 190 micron (7mil) film which adds 10% to the price. 250 micron (10 mil) is available at an additional 20% to the standard price. Please contact us to order stencils in the heavier film. Please note a Mil is not a millimetre.
Stencil sizes:
In most cases, the size listed refers to the cut-out area of the stencil and we have tried to illustrate exactly which area is cut out on your chosen design. The exception to this is when there has to be a sheet size listed. Height is listed first, width second. Although the illustrations may show designs looking quite uniform in size, especially in the cases of borders, this is merely a graphic device to aid readability. Please double check the sizes. In many cases we can do custom sizes. Please contact us to enquire about sizing or clarification of any detail of the stencil design
Layered or Multiple Part Stencils:
Most of our stencils are single layer designs whereby the colour changes are effected through one stencil. If we feel that the design or the customer would benefit from having more than one overlay for colour separation or more than one part for ease of use, we have provided it. They are simple to use and registration guides are given to match up parts or layers. We tell you how many layers or parts a stencil has in the information box about any stencil
Stencil photos:
In many cases, we have a photograph showing a stencil used in a room set to help with inspiration and to give you an idea of scale.

We are based in the UK. Prices of stencils and stencilling accessories are shown in GBP (Pounds sterling)
General information
Payment and site security:
We can accept payment using Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards, Visa Debit and Debit Mastercard. Payments are processed through PayPal. Our site uses the latest encryption technology to keep your personal data secure.
Guarantee:
When used with reasonable care and by following the instructions provided, your stencil should last the duration of an average project. If for any reason you should damage your stencil during use and the fault was your own, we will offer 50% discount towards the cost of a replacement stencil but not the postage (must be the identical stencil). Statutory rights apply.
Returns:
All orders placed on this web site are subject to the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This legislation allows you to return goods bought online or by mail order for a full refund if they are returned within seven days from the date you receive the goods. The goods must be undamaged and in perfect saleable condition. You are responsible for the full cost of returning any goods including the cost of any insurance necessary to cover the full value of the goods should they be lost in transit. We recommend that you also always obtain proof of posting when returning goods to us.
All items that are made-to-order including custom sized stencils and stencils from our ‘In Your Own Words’ range are excluded from this returns policy
We are a small family business and, in order to offer you a huge range of designs, all our stencils are made to order. We do not hold stock of any design. Although you have the legal right to return any product we would ask you please not to order 10 stencils knowing that it’s likely that you will return 9 of them. It is very unlikely that we would be able to resell the returned designs and so any costs we have incurred in their manufacture would eventually have to be passed on in the form of higher prices for all our customers. If you need detailed information about sizes or any other aspect of our products please ask us before placing your order. We’re always happy to help.
